I used CWM 6.0.3.1 this whole time, and once that firmware was on I figured I could flash the d2tmo update and it would go smoothly since it has the new firmware. I found out that I had to update my baseband to VLDLL1 (was on VLAHL2 or something like that), which I did by Odin Flashing the stock rooted firmware (r00t66). So I kept on trying every few days, and all the updates did the same thing. I figured it might just be an odd file that doesn't work. I used the CM10 built in updater to download the updates directly to the phone. Up until about a couple of weeks ago, I've been able to keep on top of the CM10.1 nightlies, but then one day I got an 'get assert failed' message. I know that this has been asked a thousand times, but I can't seem to find any answers specific to my model, SGH-T999V with Mobilicity (MCT). There is an option in 4Ext recovery that allows you to do a full wipe, and it is recommended to use that option compared to using superwipe scripts, as such scripts are usually only designed for one device. The tool may be attempting to wipe the wrong partitions, which leads to errors. It probably fails due to different partition structures. Im used to running DS full wipe scripts in between flashing anything new, but for some reason this time i get error and aborting messages same with flashing kernels and radios.
